Boston.com reports that it was 67 years ago yesterday that the first official Porsche car was assembled. According to History.com, a “hand-built aluminum prototype labeled ‘No. 1’ [became] the first vehicle to bear the name of one of the world’s leading luxury car manufacturers: Porsche.” Enjoy the memory here.
