June 22nd - Wild Ride to the Wild Side (Big Cat Rescue Tour)

Direct Link: https://clubregistration.net/events/signUp.cfm/event/14581

Join us on June 22, 2024, as we drive from Cocoa to the Central Florida Animal Reserve (CFLAR) in St. Cloud. CFLAR is a big cat and wildlife sanctuary housing lions, tigers, leopards and cougars.  Our ride will depart from F Burton Smith Park 1045 am sharp (Driver's meeting at 10:30).  The roughly 45 mile outing will culminate with a 60 minute, guided walking tour of the Reserve and provide all participants an up-close encounter with the big cats!

Lunch is also included in the $50 per person registration fee, as well as a chance to win some fun prizes by playing a spirited game of Big Cat Bingo.  Please sign-up via Club Reg and then a link will be sent to you in the Club Reg confirmation email which will connect you directly to the CFLAR site.  Please note that all attendees at the event are required to complete the CFLAR Indemnification Agreement.  Your $50 registration fee will be used to support this worthy charity.

Upon arrival at CFLAR and due to the anticipated size of our group, we will split into two (2) separate groups of (20) members each.  While the first group goes on the tour, the second group will enjoy lunch and bingo.  Following their tour, the first group will then enjoy lunch and bingo while the second group takes the tour.  The event is rain or shine, so please bring an umbrella to protect yourself from the elements.

Age Restrictions - CFAR tours are best experienced from ages 10 and up.  Due to the potentially dangerous nature of the tours, children under 10 are not permitted.  Minors 10 to 17 years of age are welcome if accompanied by a responsible adult. Event specific exceptions may apply — contact events@cflar.org for questions
