SPC is a Region in PCA Zone 12. There are several fun activities throughout Zone 12 that are open to SPC members, including HPDE events.

July/August Zone Blast
Zone Blast:
It is hard to believe that we are halfway through the year. But there are still a lot of fun PCA activities occurring throughout Zone 12. Below is information about the upcoming AX, HPDE and TRSS activities around the Zone. For more information about other activities within your Regions, you can check your Region websites regularly. If your region is hosting an activity that you wish to share with the Zone members, please pass it to me through your Region President.
NOTE: Snell SA2015 helmets: Please be advised that PCA National HPDE minimum standards provide for helmets to be valid until the end of the 10th year after its manufacture year. Due to the SA2025 helmet availability delays, PCA National granted a special extension for SA2015 helmets to June 30, 2026.
For any event after this special extension date of June 30, 2026, please ensure that your SA2015 helmet is within 10 yrs of its actual manufacturing date, or that the helmet meets the PCA national standards (SA2020 or SA2025.)

Upcoming Florida Citrus Region AutoCross Events
Florida Citrus Region will be hosting its Autocross series, sponsored by German Excellence, on the dates below. All events are held at the Lake Tech Sheriff’s Training Grounds – 13000 Frankies Road, Tavares, FL 32778. Registration for these can be found on clubregistration.net approximately 3 weeks before each event.

High Performance Driving Events
Upcoming Florida Citrus Region High Performance Driving Events (HPDE)
Florida Citrus Region will be hosting its Oktoberfast High Performance Driver Education at Roebling Road Raceway. Registration opened on clubregistration.net on June 1. Register early as Citrus Region limits the size of run groups to maximize your time on track.

Puerto Rico Region will be hosting the following DE Events at Salinas International Speedway. Registration can be found on clubregistration.net.

Suncoast Region will be hosting the following DE events at Sebring International Raceway. All events will open for registration on clubregistration.net 5-6 weeks before the event start date.

Tire Rack Street Survival (TRSS)
“Tire Rack Street Survival” is a full-day young driver program focused on real-world emergency car control through hands-on driving exercises behind the wheel, demonstrations, and classroom instruction for fully licensed drivers and learner’s permit drivers aged 15–21. The coaches will take the students through emergency braking procedures, lane changes, a slalom course, combination drills, as well as wet and dry skid pad exercises with a patient and caring certified driving coach in the car. Each student is awarded a Certificate of Completion.
