From Robin Hoffman – What a fun day we had visiting some Big Cats Saturday! Approximately half of our participants joined in the drive from Cocoa to the Central Florida Animal Reserve (CFAR) in St. Cloud. The roughly 45-mile outing culminated with a 60-minute, guided walking tour of the Reserve and all participants were treated to an up-close encounter with the big cats!
An absolutely delicious lunch was served (including grilled shrimp, and pineapple, topped off with homemade chocolate chip cookies and brownies)
TIGER bingo was played and fun prizes won.
The rain held off until the last group finished their tour as a great stroke of luck.
The volunteer staff at CFAR were fantastic. Thanks to Jimi Depietro and Steve Tarr for setting this wild adventure up!
