From Robin Hoffman – A large contingent of SPC Porsche lovers took a road trip to the Brumos Collection in Jacksonville on June 3. The first stop was Valley Smoke Restaurant in Ponte Vedra Beach for a great lunch. Then off for the remaining 10 mile run to Brumos Collection.
With vehicles spanning three centuries, the Brumos Collection is a walk through automotive history you won’t soon forget. The first section, Forerunners, featured open cockpit racers and early automotive innovations, as early as 1894, from trailblazers such as Peugeot, Miller, Duesenberg, and Bugatti. The second area, the Frontrunners, relives Jacksonville’s own Brumos Racing victories and chronicles Porsche development from 1953 to today.
