From Robin Hoffman – Our Sunrise to Sunset Gimmick Rally was a wonderful success, despite monsoon rains on Friday in Melbourne! 65 participants, made up of mostly two person teams of drivers and navigators from four different regions from across Florida participated in the 2025 Rally held on October 10th and 11th.
Organized by the Space Coast Region and sponsored by the Porsche Melbourne Dealership, the rally started with oceanfront sunrise breakfast in Melbourne and ended with a waterfront sunset dinner in Port Richey. The whole event was kicked off with a Blue Skies and Green Lights Dinner and Party at Porsche Melbourne. There were gray skies, but a beautiful sunset that evening!
The route was great – backroads all the way and the questions were fun riddles to solve (although, occasionally evil – just like our Rally Masters like it!)
On Sunday morning after the rally we were invited to Penny Lane – a cool little Beatles Museum in Dunedin FL. More than a dozen people joined in this bonus rally treat!
