From Gary Lund (Lead SPC Instructor) – Teen Driver Street Survival School complete! 27 amazing kids were put through their paces in their cars/family cars with emergency stops, sudden lane changes, slaloms, and super fun car control exercises on a skid pad doctored with dish soap. The skid pad was the hands-down favorite exercise. There was also some terrific classroom instruction, a semi-truck blind spot demo, and a shocking airbag explosive demo. We held “graduation” in the lobby of the American Muscle Car Museum. Thanks to all the students, and volunteer coaches and helpers, who made this happen. I am proud to lead this life-changing, and perhaps saving, event with the most amazing people!
