From Robert Kantor – On Friday, September 13, Space Coast members gathered at the newly renovated Eau Gallie Yacht Club to celebrate a momentous occasion: the Space Coast Region’s victory in the prestigious Ferry Porsche PCA Region of the Year Award. The evening, generously sponsored by Porsche Melbourne, featured a lively dinner and live musical entertainment. What a great night! Thank you, Shay Rowe and Porsche Melbourne!
This marks the second time our region has been honored with this award, and it was truly delightful to see our dedicated leadership recognized, particularly veteran Robin Hoffman and our current President, Stephen Tarr. We are all so grateful for their selfless contributions to every aspect of the club’s business!
Special guests included Leslie Sikorski, our Zone Regional leader, and a video message from National PCA President Vu Nguyen was shared. Esteemed member and “evil rally master” David O’Neal, assisted by his lovely wife Ginny, added to the evening’s entertainment with a Memory Lane trivia Q&A. Equally enjoyable was Char Good, with her high-energy, electric violin performance throughout the night.
In keeping with the spirit of giving back, 100% of the proceeds from the evening were donated to Candlelighters of Brevard, a local nonprofit that provides emotional and financial support to children with cancer in Brevard and Indian River counties. The evening was a tremendous success, celebrating not only our region’s significant achievement but also contributing to a meaningful cause.
