From Robin Hoffman – What a beautiful day! Thirty four members shined up their Porsches and came out to a special Club event beginning with a guided tour of the American Police Hall of Fame and Museum and ending with lunch on at the Space Bar! Our docents provided a personal tour of this meaningful and unique Museum.
The Museum not only pays tribute to police officers who lost their lives in the line of duty but helps you understand the scope of American Policing and the dangers involved. There were exhibits on American gangsters, forensic evidence, a concealed weapons display as well as an assortment of motorcycles and various police vehicles.
After our tour we headed to the rooftop Space Bar at the Hilton Marriot. It was a delightful place to enjoy lunch, take in the beautiful view of the river along with the Kennedy Space Center. You may want bring friends to the Space Bar for a future space launch because of its super location.
