From David Kelly – Thirty-four Space Coast Region members brought their Porsches to the Vero Beach Kaffeeklatsch on Sunday, December 08, 2024. First-timers and veteran Kaffeeklatsch attendees enjoyed the beautiful sunny weather which enabled “top down” rides for the 356’s, Boxsters, 911 and 944 Cabriolets. Everything was on display from early air-cooled machines to the latest Porsche models. One car, a red ’67 911S #92, was fresh from the track at the HSR Races this weekend at Sebring. It was a great reminder of Porsche’s racing heritage, and the open exhaust left no doubt about its intended purpose. Several people drove through to check out the Porsches and take videos.
We were also visited by a Lotus Emira owner who wanted to see the cars on display. Robin Hoffman, past SPC Region President, was on hand to distribute the SPC Calendars for Charity and to talk about about upcoming Space Coast Region events. Dan Cleary, owner of the Werkshop in Melbourne, FL., was also there and talked about his plans for 2025. It was another great event with lots of Porsche camaraderie! Here is a link to photos of everything.
