From Jeff Dorman – Friday looked to be rain-free for the season-opening of the IMSA 2022 season. I arrived around 9 am with the Prototype Challenge cars first on track, so I headed off to the paddock to take in the WeatherTech and Michellin Challenge entrants. These cars were in various states or preparation for their opening sessions, coming up shortly. I got to the International Horsehoe (Turn 3), as the Michellin Challange cars and WeatherTech series cars took to the track. Then over to the Turn 1 high bank to capture the WeatherTech entrants, then off to the straight between the West Horseshoe (Turn 5) and the entry to the high banks to capture a variety of comings and goings.
