From David Kelly – The Antique Automobile Club of America held its 44th Annual Car Show at Riverside Park in Vero Beach, FL. on Saturday, March 18, 2023. Six Space Coast Region members displayed their Porsches among other classic German, Italian, and British sports imports in Class 11, where the Red 1960 356 Roadster owned by Forbes Anderson took the “First-in-Class” Award for best car. The sports import cars were reasonably represented within a field largely made up of American muscle cars, hot rods, modified trucks, and a good number of antique cars. To say there was something for everyone would be an understatement given the large number of cars at the event, which was also marked by large crowds of spectators, food trucks, and other vendors. Beautiful weather, with plenty of shade and space under the oaks, made it a perfect day for car lovers to browse through the restored and modified cars of their youth or scout for dreamed of future acquisitions.
