SUMMARY:Intro to Race Track Driving 101 at Circuit Florida Motor Club – September 13
DESCRIPTION:When: Sunday, September 13, 8 am-12:30 pm\nWhere: 150 Raceway Drive, Auburndale, FL\nCost: $495 Course Fee\nThis professionally taught class is being held at the private Circuit Florida Motor Club. The even is exclusive to members of the PCA Space Coast Region. Using your sports car this 4-hour introductory course will teach you the fundamentals of driving on a racetrack. You will learn basic skills and techniques in the classroom, followed by practice on the track in a lead/follow format.\nThis event will be limited to 16 participants\nGreg Lowdermilk, who instructs at the Porsche Track Experience, will use the lead-follow format used at that school.  Circuit Florida will provide the lead cars.  Their Chief Driving Instructor will lead a group, and Greg will lead the other.  They will take 4 cars per lead follow, so 8 participants on the track at once. We’ll continue that cycle until each driver gets three 20-minute sessions.  We will take breaks for hydration and bathroom access.\nGreg will lead the caravan from Viera to Circuit Florida.\nThe track does not require insurance; it is built into the fee.  All cars will have to be checked for safety by a technician.  Porsche of Melbourne will do this on Saturday, September 5th, starting at 9 AM.
