SUMMARY:Parade of Presents – Toy Drive & Lunch
DESCRIPTION:When: December 14\nWhere: Drive to Toys-for-Tots (origin departure locations vary – see description)\nCost: toy donations encouraged, but not required, lunch is self-pay\nJoin in on the Holiday spirit of giving and friendship. Our region is supporting Toys-for-Tots – North Brevard County this holiday season. Toys brought to our Space Coast PCA holiday party will be gathered, and on Sunday, December 14th, we will host drives from the south/central and north areas. Members who were unable to attend the Club’s holiday party are encouraged to join in on the drive and bring along a toy or two.\nWe will leave Vero Beach KK at 10 AM and meet up with our Central Area members at 11 AM at Porsche Melbourne, with our final destination the Toys-for-Tots distribution center in Cocoa, on US1 between SR 520 and SR 528. Detailed directions will be provided to all who sign up.\nToys-for-Tots has requested we not broadcast the address of their distribution facility for obvious reasons.\nOur North Area members will leave Jason’s corner at 10:30 AM and enjoy a drive south to Cocoa where we will all gather and deliver the toys and take a tour of the facility, meeting many of the volunteers who make holiday magic happen for so many families in our communities.\nWe have a reservation for lunch at Tin Whiskey Southern Kitchen & Still (https://tinwhiskey.com/) in Cocoa Village just down the road (3 Forrest Ave, Cocoa), where we will enjoy a casual lunch together (self-pay).\nWe are also working with the Toys-for-Tots Coordinator to identify opportunities for our SPC members to volunteer during the season and will be providing more information soon.\nPlease contact Robin Hoffman at Robinchoffman@hotmail.com ( mailto:Robinchoffman@hotmail.com ) for Event information.\nPlease contact Colette Glencross at coletteglencross@gmail.com ( mailto:coletteglencross@gmail.com ) for Toys-for-Tots information.\nDirect Link: https://clubregistration.net/events/signUp.cfm/event/16340\n
