DESCRIPTION:When: April 26\nWhere: Marineland, 9600 Oceanshore Blvd, St. Augustine, FL 32080, and Captains BBQ in Palm Coas\nCost: $70/pp\nDescription:  Let’s take a drive down memory lane and visit Marineland, the world’s first oceanarium, now over 85 years old. The historic facility is now an educational and interactive aquarium, and we have a fun filled day planned visiting sea turtles, sand tiger sharks and of course the star of the show, bottlenose dolphin.\nWe start our southern drive from Melbourne at 7:15 am and meet up with our northern members (departing New Smyrna Beach at 8:00 am) in Flagler. Together we will drive north along A1A enjoying the ocean views. We will arrive at Marineland at 9:45 AM and start our adventure with a guided tour of the facility with education staff. Then we each participate in the Dolphin Meet and Greet program – a hands-on out of water interaction with a dolphin. We will have the opportunity to interact with a dolphin, touching, splashing and playing, getting some fun photos too. Professional photographs of our interaction with the dolphin will be available to purchase.\nOur day at the park will conclude and we will travel south to enjoy a delicious self-pay lunch at Captains BBQ in Palm Coast. Located right on the intracoastal waterway the views from the outdoor seating area are stunning, and the BBQ is some of the best you will find.\nDetailed directions will be provided to registrants prior to the event.\nGroup size limited to 50, ages 5 and up.\nQuestions?
