Ladies Day AX with Florida Citrus Region (11/22/09) - Florida Citrus Region (FLC) is hosting Round 7 of their 2009 Autocross series featuring the annual Ladies Day. The autocross is open to drivers of both sexes; however, Ladies “L-Class” drive for free and receive additional runs and special training – the perfect opportunity for a first-time autocrosser! The AX will be staged at the Lake County Sheriff’s Training Facility located at 13000 Frankies Road near Tavares. Cost is $25/pp in advance, $30 on site and includes lunch. Kaffeeklatschen (12/13/09) – Three concurrent Kaffeeklatschen will be held 9am at the Panera Bread Cafes located at 2400 International Speedway Blvd in Daytona Beach, 275 Eau Galle Blvd East in Indian Harbour Beach, and 2005 Indian River Blvd in Vero Beach. Kaffeeklatschen provide a relaxed social setting for Porschephiles to discuss upcoming events, receive event flyers, and of course, inspect the assembled cars.  Event Flier

Holiday Party, (12/19/09) - We’re pleased to announce that we will return to the Eau Gallie Yacht Club in Indian Harbour Beach for our annual meeting and Holiday Party on Saturday evening 12/19. We’ll be in the Main Dining Room with the wonderful view of the waterfront. Attendance will be limited to 150. We’ll begin with cocktails and hors d’oeuvres at 6PM, followed by dinner at 7PM. Our menu will include a mixed green salad with house dressing, a plated dinner (your choice of a grilled Rib Eye Steak or grilled Mahi Mahi with Mango chutney. All this will be accompanied by the Chef’s choice of an appropriate starch, a fresh seasonal vegetable, rolls and butter, coffee and tea. Desert will bring fresh cheesecake with a fruit topping. A children’s menu of Chicken “Fingers” or Pizza will be available as well. The dinner is priced at $30 for adults and $7.50 for children pre-registered on-line prior to December 10th. Later reservations will be $35 and $10.
